MFNH Staff
Maida
Alvarez
is a teacher in the School Age Program. Maida has a degree in
Education from Lesley University. She has worked as a food pantry
attendant since 2005, and joined the School Age Program in June of
2007.
Toni “Bee”
Brooks
is the Volunteer Coordinator. Toni Bee is a freelance journalist and
community advocate who works to bring a broad range of programming to
the Fuller House.
Sion Chambers is the Area IV Street Worker and spends much of his time in the
community working with at-risk young adults. Sion grew up in Area IV and
has extensive knowledge of the neighborhood and needs of the community.
Sion previously worked with City Year and also the Young People’s
Project. He studied Sociology at Fitchburg State College. Sion has been
with the MFNH since 2004.

Tobias DeGrand
is the Lead Teacher of the School Age Program. Toby has
a degree in Chemistry from the University of
Massachusetts, Amherst. He began volunteering at MFNH
in 2006 and joined the staff in March of 2007. |

Ardeene Goodridge is the Area IV Neighborhood
Coordinator and a life long resident of Cambridge. She has worked
locally and internationally as a Youth Advocate and Community Organizer
and is a member of the Cambridge Peace Commission. Ardeene has a
B.A. in Mass Communications/Visual Arts and an Associate Degree in
Applied Logistical Science. She served 6 years active duty in the
United States Air Force before returning home to Cambridge.
Ardeene joined MFNH in August 2008.
Bryan Hewitt is the Director of the Food Pantry and
also is a teacher in the School Age Program. Bryan's background is
in criminal justice and has a Bachelor's degree from Hesser College.
He worked with children for 2 years in Connecticut from 2001-2002.
Bryan has worked in Area IV for 1 year and has been with MFNH since
2008.
Barbara Kibler
has been
the Executive Director since 2004 and brings extensive experience in
non-profit management from the past 25+ years. Barbara has previously
been the ED of four Boston area agencies. Her expertise is building and
strengthening programs and organizations. Barbara’s degree is in Fine
Arts and she enjoys painting and gardening when she can find the time.
William Nadler is the Computer Teacher of the adult classes at
the MFNH. Bill has extensive experience teaching adults and works
full-time at Operation Able where he oversees the computer lab and also
teaches a range of computer skill classes. Bill has been teaching at the
MFNH since 2005.
Ricky Newton is a teacher in the School Age Program. He is currently
pursuing a degree in Psychology at Bunker Hill Community College. Ricky
has been with MFNH since 2006.
Annie Small is the Associate Director responsible for administration and
accounting as well
all-around support person for the MFNH. Annie has worked in numerous
non-profits as an administrator, and is an involved community member of
Area IV Cambridge. Annie recently finished her BA in Psychology with a
concentration in Juvenile Justice, and is currently pursuing her Masters
in Mental Health and Addictions at Cambridge College. Annie has been
with the MFNH since 2006, and has lived in Area IV for 25 years.
Mark Stearns is the Site Coordinator of the School Age Program.
He has a BA in English and Philosophy and began working with children as
a camp counselor on Cape Cod. Mark has also worked in numerous after
school programs in the Boston area. He enjoys helping the children with
their reading and math skills as well as directing physical activities.
Mark has been with the MFNH since 2005.
