 By the numbers….

  • The Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House has been providing resources and support to 3+ generations of Cambridge families over the past 110  years.
  • Today we provide needed support and services to over 14,000 constituents – many of the most vulnerable residents in Cambridge.
  • Our School Age and Summer Explorations Programs provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment to more than 70 different children – ages 5 – 12 years – annually.
  • More than 170 annual volunteers help keep the MFNH doors open.
  • Our Emergency Food Pantry supplies food to more than 13,300 constituents each year.
  • We distribute 21,000+ pounds of food to more than 1,200 people monthly.
  • Our Pantry leverages over $180,000 in donated resources: free and low-cost food, volunteers and donated transport of food.
  • Our Technology Center offers daily computer and internet access to 150 community visitors each year.
  • Our Street Outreach Worker carries a caseload 0f about 25 at-risk young adults at a time, connecting them to critical stabilization services including employment, housing, education, and health care.
  • Our Street Worker has worked with more than 75 different clients this year- and over 40 have started new jobs.
  • More than 800 neighbors attend the Port/Area 4 Pride Day organized by our Area 4 Community Liaison.
