Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House Earns a Four-Star Rating From Charity Navigator

Cambridge, 3/7/2023 - Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House is proud to announce that its strong financial health and ongoing accountability and transparency has earned a Four-Star Rating from Charity Navigator. This rating designates MFNH as an official “Give with Confidence” charity, indicating that our organization is using its donations effectively based on Charity Navigator’s criteria. Charity Navigator is America’s largest and most-utilized independent charity evaluator. Since 2001, the organization has been an unbiased and trusted source of information for more than 11 million donors annually.

Our Mission

We provide integrated services to individuals and families to empower them to overcome challenges, reach their potential and achieve their goals.

The Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House (MFNH) was incorporated in 1902 to support individuals and families in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and surrounding neighborhoods.

We Fulfill This Mission by Providing The Following Programming

Our programs provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment that focuses on social-emotional development, positive identity, academic enrichment, and leadership development.

Community Advancement

MFNH is committed to advancing our community and its residents. MFNH Community Advancement programs work to provide education, resources, and information to lift individuals up and allow them to become successful and self-sustaining.

Food Services

Our food services program provides emergency food to over 6,000 individuals and families each year. Our emergency food pantry provides low to moderate-income individuals a two-week food supply twice a month.
